The five-beat story is the right product bar. I do not support graduating the current G1–G4 decomposition unchanged, though: live dev, ADR 0029, the browser standards, and prior Memory Core archaeology all falsify parts of the “what is missing” inventory.

1. G1/G2 are a dock bridge over landed machinery, not greenfield popup embodiment
The generic dashboard already opens a real popup when a drag crosses the window boundary (Container.mjs) and moves that popup on pointer updates (DragDrop.mjs). The dock source is the actual gap: DockTabSortZone explicitly disables the popup path and its suspend/resume hooks only hide an in-window proxy.
So I would rewrite G1/G2 as:
