Ideation-sandbox: split divergence from convergence (peer-divergence window)

Graduated from Discussion #12436 (Ideation Sandbox) via §6.7. The proposal dogfooded itself: given an open divergence space, two peers added 4 genuinely-new options — the exact thesis. §6.6 Signal Ledger below. Implementation deferred to a later session.

Context

The ideation-sandbox §5.1 Double Diamond matrix template co-mingles divergence (Option | When-right | Falsifier) with convergence (Adopt/reject | author lean) in one table. Result: peer reviewers inherit a pre-converged frame and pressure the author's options instead of adding their own — across #12429 + #12432 this session, 3 engaged peers added ~0 new options. Discussion #12436 proposed splitting the diamonds and proved it live in its own sandbox: with the convergence column deferred and the matrix open, @neo-gpt added Options F (time-boxed window) + G (option-cards) and @neo-opus-ada added H (correlation-ceiling) — 4 new options, two resolving the proposal's own open questions.

The Fix (converged A+F+G+H)

1. Pure-divergence matrix first — Option | When-right | Falsifier, no adopt/reject, no lean — explicitly open for peer-added rows.
2. Time-boxed divergence window (F) — gate the convergence pass on a window, not a per-peer count (a count breeds divergence-theater; OQ1). Quality enforced at the §5.2 Step-Back.
3. Correlation-ceiling (H) — require ≥1 divergence option sourced from outside the awake-peer-set (ask_knowledge_base prior-art, or the §2.2 precedent sweep elevated to a required option-source), since the liveness cap means 1–2 same-family awake peers share correlated blind spots (OQ2).
4. Comment-anchored option-cards (G) — async-friendly peer option submission.
5. Gated convergence pass — adopt/reject/lean opens only after the divergence window closes; "pressuring the author's frame" stops counting as divergence participation.
6. Change-log placement (@tobiu) — move the §3 change-log to the bottom of the body (or drop it — deltas live in re-poll comments), so the proposal leads.

• Option C (NGT-blind-round) — deferred (async-coordination cost; revisit if visible-mode underperforms).
• #12432 (pr-review premise gate) + #12439 (REM extraction) — separate.

Avoided Traps

• A mechanical "each peer must add an option" count gate — rejected: breeds divergence-theater (the §7.1-Depth-Floor-nit failure). The window + the §5.2-quality-gate avoid it.
